Great product, just don't leave it out if you have nosy cats that like licking oil/fat or you'll wake up with a pile of oil all over your counter and floor.

Is the spout open to the bottle when it is upright, or does it seal? We had issues with fruit flies when we had balsamic vinegar in a pour bottle with spout that did NOT close.

I have two and quit using them due to the lid getting stuck, so you are not alone in that.

I tried a few with standard pump sprayers(like a cleaning bottle), but they do not result in a mist unless you make a full, fast pull. But a full fast pull results in 4x as much oil as I want to use.

I broke down and bought a Misto despite the mixed reviews. I have been happy with it for several years. The only issue I've had is the cap separated from the part that pushes the pump. It could have been glued back together, but I 3D printed a one piece assembly to replace it. I've only ever used it for Avocado oil and never fill it more than half way. I think a lot of the bad reviews are from people over-filling it. If it breaks I will buy another one.
