Amazon has the Husqvarna model 120 16" chainsaw on sale for $183--an all-time low according to 3C. I have the larger 450 Rancher and it works very well.
It's also on sale.
Generic Husqvarna Feature Commentary:
- Husqvarna 120 16 inch chainsaw is easy to start and easy to handle, making it a valuable tool for a variety of home and garden tasks—recommended for use with bar lengths between 14 inches (min) and 18 inches (max).
- Effortless Start-Up: Air purge system and combined choke/stop control allow for easier starting and reduce risk of engine flooding, while the gas chainsaw 16 inch blade has an inertia-activated chain brake to reduce the likelihood of injury due to kickback.
- Superior Performance: Gas powered chainsaw delivers superior performance with an efficient 38-cc, 1.8-HP X-Torq engine that reduces emissions (up to 60%) and increases fuel efficiency (up to 20%).
- Air Injection Technology: Chainsaws equipped with a centrifugal air cleaning system that expels larger dust and debris particles before they reach the air filter for improved engine life.
- Easy Handling: This cordless chainsaw features LowVib technology that uses dampeners to reduce vibrations and minimize operator fatigue for easier handling of recommended 14 to 18-inch chainsaw bars.
Good luck & happy deal hunting.

yes this is basically a trim saw only.
as someone else mentioned at this level I would look into a good battery powered one.
this saw is meant for limbs and small trees.

It's a two-stroke... Regular gas with then you mix it with 2 stroke oil 50:1 gas/oil. The 2 stroke oil that you mix in is a couple dollars. Gas + oil more like $7 a gallon? Even if you buy 50:1 premixed locally (which I recommend, since premix can be stored longer, you can't store regular gas), a gallon of 50:1 premix is like $20 at your local tractor supply or big box store. A gallon would last you multiple full days of sawing.
Get the rancher 450 for firewood processing or felling decent size tree.
