I saw this at the store on display. It really is tiny like everyone says.

Like a 1 gallon paint bucket.

Maybe only enough room to roast 2 weiners or s'mores at a time.

They work really well for keeping you warm and cooking meals on. But it's designed for a single person and a very niche use. There are lighter better options to stay warm in the same goes for cooking.

My wife and I use our OG mesa (soda can size) to make smores on the porch when using our full size fire pit is either unsafe or annoying (High fire danger, rain, etc).

We both enjoy it, its just enough space for us both to work, cozy little glow, etc.
The mesa XL would be even better for that use, but I only paid 25 bucks for my little mesa so I cant say if this is entirely worth the price.

These things sure are overpriced when you consider the manufacturing cost

Fwiw, it's not a bad item in certain situations. I live in a duplex that has one house on top of the other instead of front and back. So I don't have a yard. I have a patio that's the size of 2 full garages, so I have about 20x20 space to work with. The regular solo stoves for the yard would be overkill/ dangerous in my situation. Although this is small, it's enough to have the boys come over for beer and cigars while we just sit around this and hang out. The fire does kick up about 1-2 feet over the rim so it's perfect in our situation. Keeps the immediate space warm, provides light, and we can tend to it very easily.
If you have a yard then it's better to go bigger. But here I can set a little fire for myself, wife and kid and don't have to worry about firewood running out. A 10 buck bag from home depot and the chop saw has lasted me many uses and I'm not even half way done with the wood. Ymmv of course. If you are set on one of these over the bigger ones I recommend offer up or fb marketplace. Usually find some for 50 bucks in better colors too.

I recommend East Oak Table Top Fire Pit over this. You can see the comparison from some YouTube reviews.

When deciding whether to buy one of these I stumbled upon "hobo rocket stoves" which was really quite fun to make and works great for my purposes.
