As I've said on other posts for this game: Don't waste your money. Less than 9,000 players on PS5 and less than 1,000 (no joke) on PC. Probably even less on Xbox. This was doa and not the game Payday 2 fans waited 10 years for. This game isn't worth the time to play for free.

as someone who played the original payday and put about 70 hours in payday 2 about 10 years ago, this game seemed pretty much the same formula with a new coat of paint.

That being said, the gameplay gets kind of stale after a while. Playing with real friends makes it a bit more fun for sure, but I guess you can say that about any co-operative game.

Dam i was looking forward to getting this 3rd installment but i keep reading bad reviews. I will always love the original payday, i played 163hrs of it according to my steam account.

theyve done a lot of updates apparently. i got this game when it was $10 on woot earlier. I played a few matches. its pretty fun for the price. I would have been mad if I paid full price. I think payday 1 was better than 2 by a longshot, and I feel this is similarish to 2. not bad for a time killer especially if you have a buddy or three to play with.

I played over 150 hours mixed of solo, friends, and randoms, and I would say it's a great deal for $8.

I played it when it first came out so I can't speak to the current state of the game.
