The OP's post is for a composition book with primary ruling for beginning/elementary writers, which is also different than a regular wide-ruled composition book. The primary ruling has dotted lines in the middle to help the students know where to place their letters when learning to write. These books are generally more expensive than regular composition books, although I did buy some Mead primary ruled journals (half sheet ruled; half sheet blank) at 50 cents at Walmart 3 months from a SD post. Those were normally over $4.
These differences may all seem silly but they're important for primary students.
