Got one last month and it was great until the osd started going crazy yesterday. Had it 40 days and support refused to do anything except give me "an open box refurbished" model, saying that after 30 days I couldn't get a new replacement. Completely unacceptable. Apparently this is a fairly common issue on Dell monitors I've read. My previous monitor was a Dell and had issues as well but they were tolerable. Unreal terrible customer service. No more Dell for me. Amex fortunately refunded the item for me under return protection and I bought a different monitor.

I just got this monitor and wanted to make some observations on my usage. First, with everyday use, I found it wild how different the performance from Displayport vs HDMI is. I have a 4k 144hz monitor that runs flawlessly through displayport, so naturally I thought it would make sense to run this Dell that I am pairing it with through a similar displayport setup.

I try and try in OSD settings, nvidia control panel settings, and it just gets so choppy. I set at 165hz, 144hz, 120hz, and to my eye it really didn't look that much better than 60. Note, I am comparing to the smoothness I am accustomed to on my 4k 144hz monitor next to it, and driving with a 4080 super.

As I am about to give up, thinking I got a bad unit or something, I try hdmi and voila, that made all the difference - it is perfectly smooth now in everyday usage. Looking further into the monitor, it seems like only the hdmi port has VRR, which seems to be what provided me with the smooth everyday experience, and corresponding smoothness in games too. While I would never think hdmi would be a better experience on a monitor, looks like that is the case on this monitor. If experiencing the same issues, try this! Couldn't find this information anywhere.

Secondly, the best picture quality I found was on RTS mode, dark stabilizer 0, and 100/80% brightness and 80% contrast. Great picture quality and dark blacks. With these configurations, at $162, I am completely satisfied!! great monitor!

Only if you don't need audio as there's no audio out ports.

I purchased two of these last week for $180 and then got this notice today. I was able to reach out to their support via chat to see if they would help price match. I let them know the order numbers and the coupon code and they were able to provide an $18 credit for each monitor. 😄

I have a similar model. While it's great to have three video inputs, I wish there were more than one HDMI port. This would allow for connecting multiple game consoles without needing a flimsy converter dongle. Additionally, it appears that this model does not have an audio pass-through to connect to external speakers.

Were you able to apply the coupon code for an already delivered order through customer service?

I would like to know also, I ordered mine last month, but still under 30 days

UPDATE: Chatted with them and they gave me the discount. I had 1 day left before 30 Days. Saved me $40 cause I bough it at $200. great deal. I've been pretty happy with the monitor.

Yeah, I let them know I wanted to price match on the coupon code for SAVE10. I did have to ask them to apply it to each monitor since they had different order numbers.
