If I already have Peacock, anyone know if this stacks a year to what I've already paid for?

Edit: Details say for new Peacock subscribers so I'll assume not.

Edited Edit: contacted peacock support and they prorated a refund and canceled my account. Then just followed the Verizon link and all worked like a charm.

After SEVERAL hours with Verizon customer support, we went round and round to try and figure it out I could not get this deal.
My guess is, if you have EVER had a Netflix/Peacock/Starz deal, you can never again get a deal.
The fine print does not say this. I never got a definite reason why.

When we cancel right before the year expires, do we do that through Peacock & Netflix or through Fios?

Former Verizon Wireless customer. Had the Netflix/Starz deal from last year that just ended. Still have Fios and was able to get this offer through the +play link in the account dashboard.

Anyone know whether the subscriptions start the day you purchase it or can you wait to activate?

If you're getting the service through Verizon +play (as you stated), then yes you need to cancel through the Verizon portal. PLUS, once you cancel, you need to make sure t hey don't automatically renew your Netflix outside of Verizon (as they did to me). Although, it was easy to cancel by going online to Netflix and doing an online chat.

As has been mentioned before...

I have Netflix outside of Verizon. Current month is paid until August 10th. Anyone know... if I do this promotion, it will convert my subscription to premium, and do I lose the period of today until August 10th that I had already paid for?

I just paid for a month of Netflix, through Netflix, on 7/16. I just purchased this deal and it expires 7/18/2025. It definitely looks like you lose whatever time you have on the active month. I am going to reach out to Netflix to see if they can pro-rate the month I just paid for, but only got 2 days out of. That is my fault for not checking and I doubt they will reimburse but I'm still saving a ton of money with the deal overall.

Please see my post on the next page. If you contact Netflix live chat they will reimburse you the days that this deal cut off, once the 12 month period is over.

That s what I thought. I couldn't remember what had happened last time I did this, with Starz/Netflix. But now I think you re making me recall that that IS indeed what happened.

Thanks. It looks like I can unsubscribe from Netflix now and would still be able to watch until 7/18/2025 based on this on the Verizon page: "If you unsubscribe now, you can still access your subscription until Jul 18,2025".

Can anyone confirm? I wouldn't mind waiting until next year to do it if I didn't forget everything even when I set reminders lol.

On my Amex account it shows I was charged by "VERIZON PLUS PLAY PEACOCK REC".


I doubt this would work with the Peacock Amex offer

I went through the Netflix browser live chat, waited 5 min for an agent, but they very quickly gave me the response below. You will not lose the time you paid for if you notify them through the chat!

Just allow me a minute while i go through your account details.

Since Netflix is a prepaid service, we have issued a credit to your account for the remaining balance. It can be used when your account is no longer linked
