Take videos and pictures of your device - I almost got played by them. I've traded in 6-7 devices to Samsung; on my Fold4 I traded for a S24U, they said the screen was cracked after receiving the device. I had to call in, send pictures and video, after which they pulled the "unboxing video" and confirmed it was an error on their end and reissued the full credit. I had always read about it on Reddit, however I got to experience it first hand. Take video of the powering down, showing no damage, packing it (have this all ready ahead of time), and handing it to the Fedex rep in a continuous cut. This made a difference.

So I just pulled trigger on S24U.. total came to $885 with tax.. 15% CB is 124.. then there's 3% credit card rewards. I am satisfied with ~$750.

I have S22U now and I am actually totally happy with it so I'll see what I do with the new one. Might keep it in the box for now...

Traded in my S22 ultra for $600. Education price for the 512 came to $559.99 plus tax.

I figured it cost $250/year if I upgrade after two years. Mines been having some issues lately too.

18% CB on Cap1 shop link too 🤫
On wearables too, FFFF missed out on that. Can you still use $50 on watches? I have a few on hold lol.

Have the z fold 6 tomorrow but tempted with this s24U deal as well. Any advice for which one to get coming from a iPhone 15pro max?

I find both builds very nice and want a larger phone (fold) but same time I like taking photos and worried about the poor cameras on the fold
I ordered both, but I have had both many times before and always tend to use the bar phones more due to the speed of access and the front screen on the Samsung Fold being too narrow. If the price difference is minimal, you might want to go with the Fold since it is a much more expensive device so you are getting more value for each buck.

I created 2 new accounts and keep getting "referral code not valid"... grr
I resolved the issue by emailing the offer code to a new email address using Samsung's referral page and then creating the account with the email. They will send a link in the referral email.

Is this consider a good deal? This would be my first time buying an Samsung ultra phone.
That is a good deal. However, Capitalone's offer did not work for me because their app glitched with Samsung's site. Also, I don't particularly appreciate how they offered 18 percent in their app and then 10 percent in their Chome plugin.

Got it for $797! YMMV

Using my current account referred myself and created a new edu account. Then logged in to the Samsung app first which gave me the 'get $50 if you spend $1000 offer'.

Then selected the S24 Ultra 512GB, selected both the Bud3 and Buds3 Pro offered at the end of the order page for reduced price. Total came to just over $1000, then used the $50 code from the app.

Final price for each of the item in the order. All without any trade-in!
S24 Ultra 512GB Phone: $797
Buds3 Pro: $127
Buds3: $92

Truly slick when combining the 15% (15,000 MR) cash back in Amex MR from cashback site, 5% on the original account for referral and 10,000 MR points from Amex promo!
Which cards have the Amex promo? I'm not seeing it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after a long dilemma and headache, I pulled the trigger and decided to go with the Fold 6 instead of the S24U.

$993 after taxes, this amount including $250 that I used to buy my trade in device.

The S24U would have been $123 cheaper for me but I like the bigger screen I guess.
I didn't apply the cashback option, I just got the $50 dollars of the app instead.
