Take videos and pictures of your device - I almost got played by them. I've traded in 6-7 devices to Samsung; on my Fold4 I traded for a S24U, they said the screen was cracked after receiving the device. I had to call in, send pictures and video, after which they pulled the "unboxing video" and confirmed it was an error on their end and reissued the full credit. I had always read about it on Reddit, however I got to experience it first hand. Take video of the powering down, showing no damage, packing it (have this all ready ahead of time), and handing it to the Fedex rep in a continuous cut. This made a difference.

After cashback and discounts the phone ends up being $670, not bad with no trade in.

Now I just have to sell my current phone to further sweeten the deal.

I have an Samsung Galaxy Note 9 128GB and I am getting $200 trade-in right now. Should I wait to see if the s24 Ultra price further goes down or if I might get a higher trade-in value? As per the steps listed in this thread, I am getting s24 ultra 512GB for $785.99 + tax (this includes the trade-in of note 9)

Or should I get a s23 Ultra (Re-newed) for $619 + tax (have to trade-in my note 9 and I get $300 off), use it for a few months or an year and see if I get a better deal during thanks giving or when s25 launches and trade it then to get an s25 ultra? Unsure how much I would have to spend then? Not a fan of changing/upgrading phones unless really required.

Trying to keep the cost around $600, for which I am getting a s23 ultra renewed. Confused. Really need some ideas/suggestions if I should bite the bullet or wait?

To me this deal was good. I traded in my 128GB s21 ultra and got this for $599+ tax - $90CB rebate which brings the total cost to less than $600. With the $50 watch7 deal I'm all geared up.

Random question but can you connect these phones to the galaxy tablets and what's the benefit of that? Just dex? I use a portable monitor currently.
