Both weren't refurbished -- not even in the slightest. They were -very- beat up with scratches, dings, etc. The battery lasted 30-45min with 50% brightness and no wifi.
Woot's "refurbished" means heavily used yard sale/thrift store quality. It's a spit shine minus the shine, with extra spit.
They did make it right with refunds, but that was a LOT of back and forth. Unnecessary hassle.

Just picked up the Steel Blue 8GB one for my husband. Can't beat that price. Hope we get another good battery.
