Do yourself a favor, skip these, and get yourself Chanellock brand needle nose and slip-joint pliers.I also highly recommend there side-cutters or how I've always known them "dykes" . they'll last you longer, and the quality is much higher.
just my $0.02 as I was extremely unhappy with these last time I got them. I gave them away

Agree. Left mine out back for a few days and these rusted very quickly. Others like Milwaukee, Husky and Kobalt did better.

Only way to know they do not lock was the pics here (without clicking through). Irwin is using the brand name but it could also be a descriptor of the tool, and it is confusing, because one would logically expect these to be like vice-grips and lock. Bad idea.

i.e. Irwin Vice-Grip boxer shorts. No, they don't lock onto and squeeze your junk, they are just made by Irwin and Vice-Grip is their brand name.

Okay...I know they don't sell clothing, but you get my point.Big Grin
