It's not like Delta Pro 3 or any competitor are significantly better than the original Delta Pro. The only real difference is you can support 240volts from a DP3 without the need for another DP and double voltage hub. I'd argue if you need 240V, you likely need more units anyways.

Until you see the battery chemistry change to something better, each iteration will be basically the same just with varying ports.
Dunno man, I mostly agree - this is a good unit at a good price - but I don't think 240V is a "crazy voltage" and it's not crazy for people to see its presence in the newer DP3 as a great feature, or to see this one as "long in the tooth." 240V is what a home electrical panel uses. I haven't looked too far into it, but I'd like a unit that can be hooked up to my panel so that I can run my normal home lights, etc., with minimal rewiring required. It seems like the DP3 would just require installing an interlock or transfer switch, right?
Good price for a new Delta Pro. I just bought the refurbished one for $1500 so this is tempting.

However, without a Delta Pro adapter, this is less useful, as I can't connect to the Ecoflow dual fuel generator, nor the Ecoflow 800W alternator. And that adapter is pretty much out of stock everywhere.

Ecoflow should include that adapter with every Delta Pro.

Good deal on a Delta Pro, though the Delta Pro is a little long in the tooth and isn't as competitive against its newer peers.

Code also works on the expansion battery. I just tried it. Brought it down to 1259. These are still good units if you use them correctly. I have a Delta pro refurb and I am happy with it.

correct. don't listen to prev. comment, delta pro will suit most use cases, it's one of these people who let marketing hype get to them. there is nothing in new tech w/ the pro 3 , and if you are the %3 that need crazy voltage, then get the pro 3 and be happy. you can literally say, "but the next gen is better" for any product. marketing people love types like you.

Your home's electric panel is not 240v. It has 2 individual 120v main feeds and a 240v individual circuit breaker in the panel box will draw 120v from each of the 2 feed "legs". Your lights and receptacles are not 240v. Your electric water heater, dryer, electric heat may require 240 but any standard light, outlet is 120v.

So even when they were selling as combo w/ 800w alternator, it didn't come with the adapter?

This plus the panel and cable was on a price error in Amazon Canada, worked out to 1000USD. Amazing error, probably deal of the year for me.

Nope. I was disappointed. Now I have both sitting there until I can get a hold of the adapter

Seconded. I am Interested in hooking up the electrical panel in a large cabin/small home to a solar generator such as DP3.

Hoping a 30amp plug from the DP3 to a generator inlet going to a double pole 30amp breaker back feeding the home's panel (with interlock kit) will work?
Any good suggestions / YouTube videos?
