I'm mainly posting this as the most recent thread on this is now labeled as 'expired' for some reason even though the $199 price for a LiDAR robot vacuum with 5000pa suction is pretty good. Chocolate - Now $366.00

What did expire was the ~Prime Day price of $188 for the Blackberry color. But, the original deal that was posted ($199 for either Blackberry or Chocolate) is still live.

I set up two of these today and am pretty impressed - not as much with the actual vacuuming, which is odd - but I'm, impressed with the tech. I just set it up, charged it and hit 'go'. These little robots use their LiDAR to 'see' the room then drive around the room to confirm and improve mapping. They avoided falling down the stairs, feeling their way around the edge of the top stair, which was awesome. I expected to have to do a lot of programming (this is my first robot vac), but I've had to do none. It went under beds (where I never ever vacuum)! Most of those dust bunnies are no more.

As far as the vacuuming, it's decent. Better than not doing it, but I'm guessing that it'll be
a long time until the tech catches up to the quality of me breaking out my plug in Dyson and going to town in my OCD fashion.

Overall, the floors do feel cleaner than they did before I ran these.

It's cool to watch these guys do their thing and then roll back to home base, park and self empty.

I know that Sam's has the bObsweep Dustin off and on for $199 but I'm one of those rare birds that doesn't want more features for the same price. I read that the mopping is 'meh' and can actually leave trails of dampness on your rugs. I'd rather avoid that and take the higher 5000pa suction of the Orb-i over the lower 4100pa of the Dustin.

For $200/floor (I know these can work on up to 3 floors each, but...) I'm pretty happy with how they perform.

How is obstacle avoidance on this unit? Is it going to choke on wires?

My Dreame L10U does a good job of avoiding things.

Not my Dreame L10 Ultra! Did a ton of research, and I'm impressed. The vacuuming is better on my old Neato, but it would scratch my chairs with how it went around objects. I got mine on Ebay Refurbished with the warranty from the Dreame store. So far so good. Used it 2Xs today and once yesterday. Has it all but so much less money than new models that had some misses.

I think the obstacle avoidance is pretty good. It was amusing to watch it perfectly trace around my sleeping dog.

It runs over cords and wires with no issue. doesn't exactly avoid them.

However, I did have to rescue it twice after it sucked up a big rubber band and another time it sucked up the tie cord of an apron that had fallen on the ground.

Mine committed suicide today after it failed to detect the edge. Not that smart, giving it one last chance. App is horrible and most useful settings are disabled like auto resume and defaults to lowest suction power

Was it this same bObsweep Orb-i? My condolences. I always hold my breath when it approaches the stairs, but so far no issues.

it is the exact model in this listing. it is working now and it didnt jump again. i have big problem with the app that it does not connect remotely or very touchy. walmart have good return policy so i will try it for bit longer. it is smaller than your average robot vacuum and its suction power is average but better than all in its price range of $188

I've been using the vacuum for about 1 1/2 weeks now and I want to say it's amazing. I am coming from a Eufy X8. It vacuum's my home just as good and the best part is I don't have to worry about emptying the bin every week. I set it to run every day at a certain time and it does it. I will say that one of my worries are the bags, and hoping I can find them on sale or at least some knock off, so if someone has any suggestions, I'm open! The app does suck and makes me feel like it was built 5 years compared to the Wyze or Eufy app. However, it does the job, and I don't feel as I need more.
