$20 is a lot for these.
There isn't much to them - no padding etc
I only bought them at $15

Crazy seeing this here. I have one of these I purchased years ago and finally just used it on a recent trip. It worked out great and was far more comfortable to wear than I would have thought. Like previous poster mentioned, this thing has absolutely no padding but its good if you need to run out for some shopping while out of town and have something to carry everything in.

No padding at all but love all the pockets. It's my go to bag to take to theme parks or hiking. Plenty of room to throw things in for any need.

These are great as day packs for travel. They pack down fairly small and I just toss it in my personal item carryon (big laptop backpack) when flying. When I get to my destination, I toss a jacket, water bottles, snacks, etc in it. It's not the most comfortable and sometimes you have to rearrange the contents inside so something like the water bottle is stabbing you in the back, but still better than nothing.

I have this for a few years. Like other people said, the shoulders have /no padding, but this bag is very light and can carry the essentials. I wouldn't trust the bottle holder as I had a few bottle fallen out. If people have suggestions for a similar bag with shoulder padding, that would be great.

I bought both the 20L and the 30L years back.

The 30L has some padding unlike the 20L. I'm 5' 10" and I prefer the 30L hands down so if you are concerned, wait and shop for the 30L instead. I take it with me on family vacations and recommend the 30L packable for an infrequent bag.

Handy for bicycle touring when your bags are fully loaded and you need to pick up groceries for the evening. Walmart used to sell a similar Outdoor Research bag at a similar price for this purpose at brick and mortar stores, but my search seems to indicate that this is no longer so.

I use the 30L for a backpack on flights. The amount of stuff you can fit in this thing is insane. Good for a 2-3 day trip. If I go longer than I bring a carry on.

I also use these for grocery runs instead of reusable totes.

I have both the 20L and 30L version of these backpacks purchased directly from EB previously at lower prices when they had sales on these and free shipping. They are great light-duty backpacks. If you have an EB store near you and are looking for a different style/color, there is currently a $20 off sale at EB, resulting in this same price (but without free shipping unless you are a reward member and have purchases of $75 or more). The 30L version is available at $27.50 with this sale.

Its a great little pack. I bought them on sale years ago and still use em for daily carry. They wash well and can be tossed in a washing machine...dry in 15 minutes on a clothes hangar. I have even used these to go rucking with with approx 15-20lbs in them.
My only grip is lately the colors are very loud other than the Onyx.

The good old $5 shipped to home days for these bags. I have like 10 and they have been through Europe and Africa still holding up strong !!! Can't recommend enough but with inflation $20 seems reasonable. Also highly compact which is nice to have.

I mean, how long ago? I got the $15 ones too but I think it was literally years ago.
