Everything I've read about the Milwaukee one people hate it, such as the bit is loose and will disappear on you. Also that compared to the previous iteration (which people love) it's a massive disappointment.

In fact there's a recent Milwaukee subreddit thread saying to buy this one instead lol.

Good because I don't think this knife should be in your hands.

Two things… the Phillips but on the Klein is single sided where as the Milwaukee is double sided with a flat and Philips. Lastly, the newest generation of Milwaukee 6 in 1 has a ball detent, not the "hog ring" of the original. The ball detent is retained by an exterior clip/spring that people tend to catch on things and loose. I had an original version of the Milwaukee that a plumber dropped in a pipe I wasn't about to fish it out of. So I was forced to buy the new iteration, I was not excited. My fix for not loosing the detent spring was to take a piece of heat shrink and put that over the end of the spring holding it in place and keeping it from snagging. I have carried this setup daily since January and have had no issues. I use mine probably 10-20 times per week so there is no lack of use on my end. I still wish I had my original but the one I made do works for me.

It's not red so it's not good, right?
Normally we want lime green, but Klein orange is usually the right choice, even over lime green, when they have a version available.

How do you flip the bit if you shrink wrapped it?

One of these companies should add a window breaker and a seatbelt cutter on to these multi tools.

Milwaukee fastback is horrible takes 3 or 4 flicks to get it open.
The best i have ever used is the hisky quick flip but it doesnt have a screwdriver but i bought it 8 years ago and still use it it flips open or closed first flip every flip the blade storage broke off years ago and one of the screws that holds the frame together just started to come loose after 8 years.
And i can not find them for sale anyware i would literally pay 3 times what the milwaukee cost for another husky quick flip.
BEST KNIFE EVER

I just read a three star review on the product page and apparently the bit driver does not accept double sided bits. You are stuck with a single bit for every daycarry. That's certainly a dealbreaker for me.

Any opinions on how this compares to the Milwaukee one?
Having both for a while, I prefer the milwaukee because it has a flathead and philips bit. The klein only has philips.

While I believe you were trying to make a joke, I was curious if you could take it on a plane with the blade removed. A quick search revealed that with or without blades, these would only be allowed in checked baggage. https://www.tsa.gov/travel/securi...nivesknife

Just the clip holding the detent ball in place. It doesn't extend onto where the bit is.

Real men wouldn't have a problem opening a beer with this thing.
