This is a good price for two tickets, two drinks and one popcorn.

If you don't want drinks and popcorn, you can just buy 4 tickets for $35 with this coupon. Just search for AMC on the Giftory website and you should see an individual ticket for $14 each. $14 x 4 - 21 = $35. Probably a good price for most folks especially for California and New York residents where the ticket prices are high.

I rarely go to movie theaters these days as well, but I have to point out that most people don't spent thousands of dollars on 100in TV or a home theater setup.

In HCOL states, for these black tickets, it comes out $8.75 each. That's a nice discount seeing as usually the cheapest you can get these are for $10 each at Costco. Keep in mind that there's an upcharge for Imax and Dolby Cinema showings, at least in HCOL states.

EDIT: The last time this deal rolled around people found a way to get the tickets for like $3, but I think that loophole has been closed since the minimum subtotal for using the code has been raised.

I have used this twice now and it has worked great each time. Just make sure you request your tickets from giftory as it can take a few days for them to send you the certificates for the movie tickets, popcorn and drinks.

Stay away from this trash, after I received the voucher I couldn't redeem it and they insisted that I already bought the tickets and didn't refund.

If this is considered a good deal, I think movie theaters have become so uneconomical that they need to just go away.

Just to set a realistic expectation, this combo typically is on sale at Sam's Club and other eCommerce sites for $33 + T/F (~$ 4.95), so you saved about $8.95, around 23%. The deal price is minimally 50% off the price AMC charge on the site, so I would say this is a pretty good deal.

Also keep in mind that you could order the larger size on AMC and only pay the price difference (typically $1 or $0.5) for the popcorn and drinks when you redeem the coupon.
