Same length, weight, and both have solid-core fiberglass handles. The Estwing carried a 1 year warranty that you'll probably never use anyways, but the Hooyman has a lifetime one FWIW. Did a quick search and Hooyman isn't another alphabet-soup brand on Amazon, but an American-based company founded in 2008, and their warranty service is also in America. So they seem pretty legit.

Great price. Almost pulled the trigger. But the head looks strangely thin close to the blade. Not close to wedge shape like usual splitting maul. Reviews did mention it gets stuck in wood easily. It's gonna be a pita to get it out.
