I appreciate your post but it does not answer my question. I am a current Cricket customer, do not have or need a port in number and am just looking for an inexpensive replacement phone with no strings.

So if anyone knows if these AT&T phones will still work on Cricket even while locked as they used to, please post a comment.

Yes the phone will work right out the box on cricket. However, Cricket won't be able to unlock it, ATT will if you use their service for 6 months.

NOW you can get the Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 for $60 from cricket with a new number/account, no port in required. Just make another account and switch SIM cards.
