Been looking to do some manscaping, fingers crossed!
i have SEVERAL sunjoe products that use this battery. First: the battery is pretty bad. They drain relatively fast, and if they get wet they go dead. The buttons are also controlled by cheap springs and can get stuck in the depressed position easily.

The hedge trimmer is probably the best of them all

The leaf blower can barely blow small dry leaves and drains the battery fastest.

The string trimmer is decent but gets jammed full of grass in a part that doesn't come apart, I have had to take tweezers and tiny screwdrivers to fish out grass for 20+ minutes to get it spinning properly again

The Power Washer is weak but serviceable. (not battery operated)

I wanted the cheapest set possible and I got it, but I feel like I have wasted hours and hours of time messing with these terrible products I should have invested in a better system.

I also have a snowjoe assisted shovel that cracked the first day I was using it. I wrote to the company they never got back to me. Luckily Woot reimbursed me.
If you have other Sun Joe 24v products, the cost of the unit is cheaper than buying a new battery.

literally just thought this morning I need an inexpensive electric trimmer for just a few things around the yard and this popped up here. see no reason why this $30 unit won't be able to tackle the 3 or 4 bushes and grasses that repeatedly piss me off every few months.

thanks for posting!

Good deal for a name brand. Hope it's telescoping but $29 is a deal.

FWIW find something $6+ and use "HELLO30" for $30 off $60 first order.

Tempted for $29 to step outside my ryobi world just this one time. But I know battery will die eventually . Does Sunjoe or QVC ever run a slickdeal on the 24v 2.0 Ahr battery? Shows in the $40+ range regular price. Not sure ryobi/HD/Direct Tools has similar priced tool only in ryobi family. WWSD do? Guess I'll order and think about it later … the Slickdeals way .

Where the heck do you add promo code on this site? Can't find it even after I go to the checkout 🥺

P.s. Oh, it's the last possible step right after adding the CC info

I have this. For this price it's a no brainer. The battery alone usually costs more.

It's actually a very handy tool.

had to fudge around with the email address to qualify as a "new customer" but it worked. Thanks OP, have a high pressure inflator and a leaf blower from previous deals, so now i'll have 3 batteries which makes for a tidy little ecosystem.
