This is the most Far Cry 3 game outside of Far Cry 3. As much as I enjoyed Far Cry New Dawn Rage 2 feels more like New Dawn than New Dawn did Wink

This was actually an enjoyable game. It's definitely better than the 💩 that was the first game. It's extremely short, though. If you don't do everything, it's about 10 hours long. I did the majority of things and it only took me 15 hours.

No no no.....New Dawn is an absolute masterpiece. That is my favorite game. I am not normally a huge fan of Far Cry, but I loved that formula. We really need more games that let you infinitely grind and upgrade you weapons. I dumped an absurd amount of time into it. I got every single gun to 1 shot any enemy in the game. I just really wish it was bigger. If Ubisoft would make an actual full size game that followed the New Dawn formula it would probably be the last game I ever bought.

I know this is just 1 person's take and most people didn't really love New Dawn, but it almost felt like Ubisoft designed that game exactly around how I like to play. I tried Rage and put maybe 2 hours into it before I stopped playing. I need to give it another go.

Don't get me wrong. New Dawn was great. I loved it. Especially how they did the Far Cry 5 world but changed it for the apocalypse. My point wasn't FCND is bad or should have been improved upon but that Rage 2 feels like Far Cry's (3 specifically) spiritual successor more than the actual successor.

BTW, you stated you 'tried Rage' for 2 hours. Was that Rage 1 or Rage 2? Rage 2 is absurdly different. Would be like comparing FC 2 vs 3. They aren't even similar except they are all FPS games. Rage 1 was not bad, but it was rough. Especially the outdoor and inside town 'open worlds' part.
