I missed out on the Spirit deal at Costco. Seems like this is the same grill minus some smart functionality and some stainless trim.

It's not hard, just takes a while. I did this 10 years ago and it took a solid 2.5 hours

Wouldn't recommend this one in most climates. Bottom ends up rusting very badly. Only lasted my parents about 4-5 years with minor use and covered with the official weber cover. Check out local listings used, its a common problem with that design and lip on the bottom.

Interesting, have an e210 of similar design I bought in 2017, survived Chicago winters and infrequent use with the cheapy Amazon covers. I double checked just now, no rust. It is possible they swapped materials after mine though.

I have this exact same model. It's a great grill, i've replaced the grates/flavor bars over the last few years and added the weber flat griddle piece and use it multiple times a week.

My one self induced issue is i have it on my back patio. I put salt down when it ices over to access the grill during the colder months. I'm now seeing the rust / rot completely destroy the wheels and lower support legs which will likely mean i am going to be buying a new one myself.

I would absolutely buy this model again. Just this time around i will NOT be using any salt on the patio. You live and you learn.

I have the same issue, is it located on a deck or concrete? Any chance salt got to the it? I thought it was my salt use that caused it. Thanks
