Fyi this does not come with a cover. These monitors are EXTREMELY fragile and you'll need to buy something very soft to transport it in

On the surface it looks like it, but it's really not. Without the protective cover you'll need to spend another $20 which turns the cost to $75, much more expensive than the other solutions.

These are all poorly built and many will tell you these often times won't last a bumping backpack ride. (and don't get me wrong, they do work just fine as a monitor, but you really want to consider how you want to use these monitors)

I had ones that came with a "smart cover" stand but the monitor was also for some reason much heavier and the cover stand are usually terrible and not very good at standing up your monitor. I ended up with this one instead because it's for some weird reason lighter weight, but more importantly comes with a kickstand on its own. Ideally you would want some kind of old laptop sleeve bag you no longer use to protect these regardless.

Sometimes you can find laptop sleeve at Wally world clearance section for like 5 bucks tbh. Nobody should pay 20 bucks for a protection for 50 bucks plastic portable monitor.

Can these run off a portable charger for laptop / phone?
If so, any idea how long a 10000 MaH battery would last?

Would love to use with my Switch on the go

The portable monitor I have (cheapo one like this from Amazon) gets power & video from my laptop/server if you use usb-c. It can also get power from a battery via usb-c, no idea how long it will last on the battery as I just use it as a monitor to connect to servers in my basement.

The description of this one points to the same thing, but this one only has 1 full function usb-c port vs mine has 2 full function
