Buy tires on eBay. For the most part, the prices are as low as you are going to find, and they have an option to have your tires delivered to a local tire place around you, and installation is free. For me, it was a local PepBoys.
Excellent experience, beginning to end, no upsells to deal with since the guys at the shop are not selling their own products.
Bought Pirelli P4 with 70K miles warranty in local Sam's in 2019 and it's been almost 4.5 years. So far almost like 45K miles on them and after recent tire rotation, they said the tires could last another 15-20K more miles

Option 1: BFGoodrich Advantage Control - 225/60R17 99H Tires for a total of $567.96.
Option 2: Nexen N5000 Platinum - 225/60R17 99H Tires for $507.52.
I drive a Nissan Rogue and take it on a road trip to Brian Head, Utah, once a year around January/February, but the rest of the time, it's my daily driver in typical SoCal weather. Any advice or experiences with these tires would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.
I have the assurance max life for my Corolla, 40k put on them and 5mm to 6mm left, I would say they will last 70 to 80k no problem, mostly city driving as I drive Uber, but these tires suck when raining or snowing, honestly I don't like them, my wife's continental true contact is much better, 80k rating tire and better handling in rain and snow.

Man, first... just let me say that I appreciate your input on this thread. You have shared some great information. Thanks for sharing.
But I do have one strange little issue... in multiple posts, multiple times you keep saying 'threadwear'. It's probably just an autocorrect thing, but you spelled treadwear EVERY instance by adding an h (threadwear).
Sorry... but after the 3rd time, I just HAD to mention it. Thanks.
BTW, my limited experience with these brands are as follows:
Goodyear: despite their stated treadwear ratings, they seem to always fall short. I'd avoid. These aren't the same quality as your Granddad's 1955 Goodyear tires.
Pirelli's are higher quality & always seem to last a little longer than what their treadwear states.
Kumho/Nexen are similar in longevity & handling to me. If similarly priced & all other things being equal... flip a coin and buy either set.
The most expensive set of tires my wife ever had on her SUV were Bridgestones. They lasted nearly 95,000 miles (and I think were rated at 75k miles).
The twist in this story? When we bought her SUV about 7 years ago, the guy selling it had just bought the set of 4 Bridgestones.
Later, we found the receipt for them (the private seller kept very detailed records). Those dang tires cost around $950! They were nice tires & lasted a LONG time... but at almost $1k a set... I doubt we'll ever buy Bridgestones (at least not at those high prices).
And of course... if money isn't a problem, 100% of the time... you can never go wrong buying Michelin tires, IMHO. But as I just said, you'll think they are as expensive as as NFL season tickets... and they are. 💰😯
80k on 2015 Silverado factory Goodyears that could have easily lasted another 10k thru the year still, but they all had leaks in them
