Rock solid deal for this inverter - this is crazy cheap. My brother got one on last year's promo and I missed it. It is very quiet, THD is very precise and stable to power electronics safely.

Honda every single time for me (Perhaps I'm biased, I have two. An EU2200i and an EB2800i). I'd much rather pay up front and have something that's rock solid. Almost zero concerns. Fires up on 1st or 2nd pull. Parts availability for years and years (for DIY repairs). And a nation (and world) -wide network of dealers that could fix it if needed. And look at resale prices for used models. They hold their value for a reason. Not to mention, it's likely something I could hand down to my kid(s). I try my best not to buy landfill-filler, which would be a great reason not to buy this thing.

I'd rather have fewer, nicer, higher quality things personally. Not to mention, I'd rather give my money to f*cking HONDA corporation, instead of "Chongqing dinking power machinery Co.,LTD.". I'm pretty sure that's who make these "Ai Power" pieces of sh*t. You might notice how there's no "About" section on their website. No indication of "Who" they are or where they're based. I wonder why LOL?? But they sure don't mind telling you about how they're the "Preferred generator of the NHRA". Great job ingratiating themselves there.

Both the generator and the pump have specifications. Are you able to read and interpret them?

Is your sump pump on a regular 120V household circuit like with a three-prong plug/outlet? If so, I suspect this would support it. Most 120V household circuits have a 15A breaker. Given that Amps x Volts = Watts, well, 120V x 15A = 1800W. This generator is rated for 1800W running and 2300W peak/surge so yeah, it should run your sump pump given the other details above.

Whatever the case, it would also be good to consult the label on your sump pump to see what it draws. If you send a pic of it (the electric label on the sump pump, no the whole sump pump itself), somebody will probably jump in to help.

~3,504W starting amps. "If you send a pic of it". Something tells me they could have done that in the first place, but instead chose to lazily ask "will this work". It's a shame, but some adults still need to be spoon-fed.

Try Brick and Mortar Sam's. I picked up one on the way to work. They had about a dozen left when I was there at the Riverside, CA location. Odd why the stupid website is barring shipping given that the Generator is CARB compliant and HQ for them is in Fontana, CA.

You can buy 4 of these for the price of 1 Honda generator and keep them as spares. I'm sure having 4 of these as spares would far outlast 1 Honda. Besides, gas engines, especially the cloned Chinese ones are extremely reliable and will last almost as long as the genuine Japanese made ones. .
