Do yourself a favor, don't get flexible solar panels unless you have a very specific use case that will be bend mounted permanently. I've tried these as portable panels and they're brittle. You'll keep hearing cracking noises each time you bend them.

Yup had one similar crack under its own weight after one season on my boat. Had it mounted for 4 months, stored it for the winter, pulled it out in the spring, and made the mistake of not carrying it vertically - cracked completely through the width... zero output.

Now, if you want a truly portable, take up and down option- check put CIGS... they literally roll up and stow.

These are more for permanent mounting on slightly curved surfaces.

I still roll my cigs while using the Newport box so I have the best of both worlds: other cig users that judge me don't know I roll my own and the cost of a pack of cigs previously is now bag of tobacco

Not sure where you live, but in a lot of states the HOA can't prohibit you from putting up solar. Maybe take a look at your local laws?

Who is the HOA? Sounds like they need to be defunded or taken down.
