That panel is like throwing a hotdog down a well. They should just take it off the deal and subtract it out

Trying to understand why this isn't getting higher likes / ratings. Sure the solar panel isn't "great", but the system with the battery by itself seems like a slick deal compared to the slick deal on amazon for just the system without the battery at $1849 and then buying an extra battery for under $1100 more, plus you get at least some kind of solar panel--someone please explain to me why this isn't getting better ratings (from a truly objective question standpoint).

are you certain the extra battery is included? The add implies extra battery is "optional" and left me wondering if this price was for the PS + solar panel? (if the battery is included, then this is a great deal.... I just paid 2,099 for just the PS)

You have the option to select "With or without" extra battery.
The price for the kit "WITH" the extra battery is $2899

I have not added a battery backup to my home solar system yet as I don't think it's been a cost-effective option so far. Would this system work to supplement a home system for time shifting? Would like to charge the batteries during cheap overnight rates, discharge during peak rate periods, while letting the panels feed the net metering during peak credit times while the batteries are engaged? If yes, how hard and expensive is it to set up with these batteries?

objective answer: the Delta Pro is older. Not saying it can't do the job but it is older. For example the Delta Pro 3 just came out couple weeks ago. there was no delta pro 2 by the way. people who are looking for this big capacity probably prefer the ultra or the pro 3 if they're interested in ecoflow.

also, i agree with that other user who said this solar panel pairing is useless. 160w panel for a capacity this size...... total mismatch. i pair my 1,000 capacity unit with a 400w and i would never want to go lower than 400w. for a battery this big 160w is a little trickle. they likely have too many of these smaller watt solar panels so they're just bundling whenever they can. on this bundle it's way too small, may as well just take it out and let us save some money.

LOL. Consider the 160W panel a trickle charger, if that.

FWIW, Wellbots does not charge tax, so it's another couple hundred to save.

Update: not every states.

With an optimistic 6 full hours of peak sunlight each day, it would take 7.5 days to recharge this from empty with the panel included. Yikes.

I'm thinking of using this for house solar battery set up. I'm thinking for 7.2kwh with integrated charge controller and inverter this is a pretty good deal. I'm thinking of getting a transfer panel and plugging transferring small/most loads to this and keeping the heavy duty devices like oven and dryer on the main grid powered panel. And then I could charge/top off the battery by plugging in AC from grid panel into it. And I'll add panels to this slowly.

How does this sound? Would this recommended against? Should I just get like some eg 4 batteries and more typical modular setup with all in one inverter/hybrid and/or separate charge controllers?
I don't plan to be fully off grid. I Would just like to utilize solar.

That's a different deal that comes with a 400w panel.

Love that you're not calling this a generator. Because it is not. This is basically a tiny battery for your house.
