You should not use this or any redness-relieving eyedrops that contain Naphazoline HCl for more than 3 days. It temporarily constricts your blood vessels, but when it wears off, they return to their normal size or even larger than previously. So, like Afrin, it can become "addictive." Source: Mayo Clinic and my ophthalmologist

I've been using red eyes max relief which works okay but redness and burning sensation returns after some time

Check some other Walgreens threads for a better explanation. Basically you have to copy and paste the screen that has the page where you put in your credit card information with other items over $10. Then you go back to the first screen and take out the other items. Then refresh the screen and it should come out.

I think it depends on what's causing the redness and itching. Find the source of the problem, then address it. This is simply a temporary cover up of you have consistent redness or itching. Possibly allergies or something else that an ophthalmologist can diagnose.

when you substitute don't they charge different prices?
