I prefer C4, but it's me. Still waiting for mine to arrive.

Absolute smoking deal. Love my 77 S90C. Got open box for $1310 after BB gift card promo in past (now long gone).

Assuming you can't check stock/price on app or can you?

I am a big believer in new emerging tech and was super excited to try out QD-OLED. I bought the 77" S90C last year after it launched (Samsung EPP discount for $2100).

Before this TV, I owed 65" LG B7 for 4 years and a Samsung QN90A 85 QLED TV for 1 year.

The LG B7 was amazing. It had a stable picture and no issues in its four years of use. I wanted a bigger TV, so I switched to a Samsung 85" QLED. This was a huge mistake. There were a lot of issues in its one year of ownership. Overall, the picture just didn't look right, no matter how much I tinkered with it. I guess it's hard to move from OLED back to LCD.

Then I got the S90C, and the PQ is amazing. But again, there are a lot of small issues. The interface is super laggy, and it's hard even to open the settings menu. Display bugs out at times, need to turn the TV on and off. It doesn't play well with my gaming PC, and again, some PQ issues are resolved after a power cycle. There are a lot of sound issues with my Q990C soundbar connected via the eARC port. BTW Samsung soundbar is crap as well. The SQ is amazing, but there are just too many stability issues.

Overall, if given a chance, I would pick LG over Samsung due to the piece of mind. Sure, Samsung will have better PQ, but overall, TV quality will be a higher priority for me. BTW I also have a LG C3 42" OLED as a monitor and I have no issues at all with the same gaming PC connected to the same graphics card. Even the built-in streaming apps (Netflix and Hulu) work better with LG than laggy Samsung.

EDIT: Regarding the discussion about Dolby Vision, I have tried it out, and while it is better than both HDR10 and HDR10+, I wouldn't buy a TV just because it supports DV. It is nicer to have, but unless you are comparing side-by-side, it doesn't make a huge difference in the viewing experience.

This TV is nice. Tixen OS is trash. Half of the apps I have tried to use don't work right. From Paramount Plus to Bally Sports. Have switched to using a fire stick, but makes it a pain to switch to broadcast tv.
I have this TV from last Samsung EPP deal and the apps work great. Picture quality is the best of OLEDs currently. There was a bug in beginning where if you left app open when powering off tv, sometimes it would open as a black screen and had to unplug tv to be able to use that app again(samsung caches on power off so need a hard reboot to be able to clear). hasnt happened in awhile after updates.

Dolby Vision is overrated in my opinion. Doesn't make those who care for Dolby Vision their opinion invalid. I just watched Dolby Vision side by side to HDR10 (not plus) and I rather have QLED colors and brightness than a Koolaid Vision.

Video processing wise, I will accept that Samsung's sucks big time and LGs is much better though. Only matters though if you are watching low quality lo res content. Motion processing is also better with LG. However, like in almost everything you have to decide and make decision knowing that there is always trade-offs.

Just go to a TV store or a show room and decide for yourself if LG Koolaid Vision matters or not.

Again, is your money, let your eyes decide.

Based on my own liking, 2023's models where something like this: Sony A95L > LG G3 > Sammy S95C/S90C > LG C3. But that is just my liking. There are people that like way more the LG C3.
And why do you like the Sony over the Samsung? Let me guess...Dolby Vision and better processing (pretty much why everyone else likes the Sony)?

Most overrated TV on SD. This is the Tesla of TVs in these parts.
clearly you don't have one as it is brilliant, crisp, and my last oled was a sony. This is so much better...

I still catch myself staring at it thinking how beautiful and deep the picture looks.

I don't care one way or the other about DV but to be fair Sony processing is pretty good. The Bravia 9 is a pretty good tv but way out of my price range. I've never had an OLED so haven't been spoiled there and can't compare any of these TVs being discussed but Sony processing is pretty legit to me.

My point is that processing is pretty important, and if you admittedly liked the LG processing more than the Samsung, then LG should be higher on your list. Add to that the slow Tizen interface vs LG's interface. The only thing the Samsung is better at is brightness, but it's not like LG is not plenty bright unless you watch predominantly in a room with direct uncontrolled sunlight. But if you are doing that, you are not watching TV the right way anyways since it's not good for your eyes to be constantly watching TV in such a bright environment (with a bright TV to compensate). Ask your optometrist if you don't believe me.

Who are these people? Buy a cheap TCL, you won't know the difference, save a bunch of money. Now that's a slick deal! Do you have to put on the demo mode, or oversaturated demos that give a headache, to pretend its a good TV?
Maybe your eyesight doesn't work well but people can easily tell the difference between a great tv and a cheap one. Especially the amazing tvs like OLED. The deep blacks are extremely noticeable and it is like looking out the window instead of watching a television.

Replaced our Sony OLED 65" A80J model with this TV. When simply focused on the PQ- it is amazing. Animation especially is beautiful, colorful, and eye popping that we ended up rewatching Disney movies (via the app) just because its picture was worth it. Our apps and older TV shows still show well and my wife felt was better than our Sony OLED when watching older shows like the Ghost Whisperer. We use Apple TV so I don't worry about Tizen OS much. It is a pain to change the initial settings for each app or input to remove the stupid soap opera default setting. But that's a one time issue that becomes a saved setting after the switch. Switching to Nintendo Switch works much better than it did on our Sony. The Sony had much better TV audio though. As with any Samsung electronics, I got extended warranty just in case, which I didn't for the Sony.
