I am debating on getting this, was hoping for it to be under $40, but I also dig the TMNT green.
Side Question: Does anyone know what the cheapest price it has been to order custom color controllers from MS?

I'll ask the dumb comment: What cheap recommendation would you have on a BT module that would allow this to be connected to a PC? I see these deals all the time and would love to dump my (wired) XBOX controller that I've had since Rocket League came out in 2015...

look for some of the 8bit do deals... seems like you like to keep things long term and 8bitdo has hall effect joysticks.. not all of them but a few versions do

Not sure about for Bluetooth, but I've used the MS Xbox Wireless Adapter for years. It's $29.

I used my xbox controller for a bit with a cheap bluetooth adapter off Amazon, I kept having disconnect / input issues randomly. Some times it would be perfectly fine, sometimes I'd do a full reboot and nothing. I looked into it and the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adapter is way more stable than bluetooth. I got it about 3 weeks ago now and not a single issue. Just get one off Ebay you can find them for ~$15.

Maybe I misunderstood, but these newer Xbox controllers like this one already have Bluetooth.
