Don't see a part number listed. I have about 20 pairs of these and half of them aren't worth the stamp they were shipped with. I had to get part numbers direct from fiskars customer support to know which the good models were.

Wife uses these for snipping leaves on her bonsai. Apparently one of the things you do to encourage smaller leaf growth is to painstakingly snip every leaf on the tree to be smaller. Well worth having a dedicated tool that's comfortable and sharp for that.

I don't know about part numbers but I love Fiskars micro-tip pruners. The absolute best for trimming your homegrown "herbs." Not sure if I'm a geek or obsessive, but I'm strongly in favor of Fiskars scissors, too.

The Marc's discount chain here in Ohio had them as a closeout for $2.99 several months ago so I stocked up a little. Similar ones were like $13 at Walmart, I think, and they were worth that to me. These have black plastic handles with orange grips but look just like what you see here otherwise, and they're great. AA0622 is stamped on the base of the blades.

Isn't this small pruning can be done with a scissor?

You clearly never pruned 'herbs'. It takes a few hours to do one plant and you really want some good pruners.

Are these just spring loaded scissors? Or is there some sort of heft to them to make them better than scissors.

These are good for pruning/cleaning up roses for vases for whatever occasion. I have a pair of coronas that i can't find so may give these a try.

Sure, you could use scissors. But if you use scissors to prune herb you want really small ones. And they're much, MUCH more fatiguing on your hand than spring-loaded snips like these. These are far more comfortable and efficient if you're making more than a few cuts, as with trimming or manicuring cannabis, or serious bonsai.

I've had a couple pairs of these but they don't seem to last. I'd recommend taking a look at the LOOPSEED shears on amz for about 3x as much. They're a pleasure to use and well worth it IMHO.

Don't buy this for pruning unless you have very specific use of very thin or soft plants. Even rose stems are a challenge for these things.

They're *just* spring-loaded scissors, and the spring makes them better than scissors for some jobs.

The Dollar.25 Tree ones haven't failed me yet...

What 'herbs' you talk here that need hours of pruning?

Guys, is this like those tiny shears that people use to cut off tiny threads on clothes?
