Oh. It's free shipping. Sale is off though.

Imo, if you don't need the 4x PCI lan or the OS, it's probably better to just buy a mini PC from Ali for 100-150 with the n100. There's also a ton of models with 2x or 4x 2.5 lan, topton, etc, that cost about 100-200.

This might be more reliable but it's not that great a price not on sale.

I guess the appeal of the product is the "single board" aspect, but it means non upgradable RAM & eMMC onboard storage/SATA connection with very limited option, which is the opposite of home DIY. Unless someone really wants this form factor, fanless cooling or the PCIe, it is almost always better idea to spend the money on a mini PC.

Yeah I don't know what I would do with this. Maybe pfsense with the two ethernet ports, but something stationary like that doesn't need this FF. NAS is out, Plex server is out....

Are you sure you want to run those things on this Celeron N3350 CPU? We are not talking about "huge CPU power", but this is a very outdated CPU, and N100 literally has several times the performance of this.

My opnsense firewall is running on an Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-8145U CPU @ 2.10GHz (2 cores, 4 threads) in some Lenovo fanless setup similar to this. Docker services: VPN client, 2 torrent clients, pi-hole, all sorts of automation for torrents, etc: 4GB ram usage. I have 32GB total, over kill? Yeah, but they were just sitting around so just stick it in.

I feel like this is for high school nerd who want do dive into the rabbit hole of obsolete hardware. Raspberry Pi is much better. Even an old Mac mini or trash can Mac Pro can do every this board does and with better performance and hardware.
