Thanks OP!

I have a ton of EGO products and nearly all the Power+ attachments and am generally a big fan. After seeing this post I decided to watch a couple videos since I don't get a ton of snow where I'm at, but it will usually dump a 3-inches to 1+feet of snow once a year.

I think I'm gonna pass on this one as it looks like it may end up being more of a headache than it's worth.

The other video I watched talks about how the auger needs pressure against it for it to run and it tends to just push the snow around until you get enough pressure against it.

Update: IDK. Reading some of the comments in the video, other owners seem to really like it. Maybe I'll give it a go. LOL.

I'm also pretty bought into the Ego family. I live in a northern climate with a lot of snow. I picked this up last year to use on my deck. It's fine for decks and walkways. The Ego single stage isn't a lot more and is much more capable.

I love mine, so much that I don't use the actual ego snow blower much. Main advice is make sure your surfaces are clear of debris and plants sneaking into the sidewalk and driveway. It is a bit delicate if it hits a big rock or weeds get wrapped up around the augur.

Waiting for the bristle brush to go on sale, seems more versatile.

I'm in SLC, UT. Our snowfall is inconsistent. Typically less than 5 inch storms but occasional 12"+. We don't get lots of really wet snow combined with volume. If it's wet it's usually quite small.

I have the bristle brush and it is not good for snow above like 1" but if you push hard it will make your area damn clean. i ended up not using it at all and bought the snowblower

Got this for $150 earlier in the year and I really liked it.

We already have the snowblower, but this was great at clearing smaller snowfalls.

One thing that I will note is that it's a bit of a workout to use because it is so heavy to lift when on the end of the multi-head system. Other than that, I'd recommend it.

Terrible product. Ridiculously heavy for what it is but can only handle light snowfall. Better off just using a shovel or spending more on a used gas blower.

Horrible product, i had this and sold it. Its heavy, weak and doesnt work well. They should have installed wheels on it, regardless, its not good. Its actually worse than the snowjoe shovel and thats pretty bad. I would advise against buying it

I got it. I like it. I live in NYC. I wish it was wider but meh. It's on sale because there's a another version coming out that's a standalone shovel and not like an attachment. Like how's there's a trimmer attachment and standalone.

If you're able-bodied, this won't be better than a shovel if you're after speed and a little exercise.

Any more than a couple inches and this isn't going to be much help anyways.
