So, yes, this battery is for real. It's not for putting into a kids toy or something easily changed or changed regularly. It's great for hard-to-change locations, great for products which need long life, great for high current needs, and perfect for items which you will need powered an emergency and want to store with the batteries in-place and ready to go.
And, as SeriousSardine pointed out, Google Nest (and Blink) devices require them to work properly/efficiently.

It's great for hard-to-change locations, great for products which need long life, great for high current needs, and perfect for items which you will need powered an emergency and want to store with the batteries in-place and ready to go.
And, as SeriousSardine pointed out, Google Nest (and Blink) devices require them to work properly/efficiently.

Math
It's required in school.
I've had a $100 flashlight ruined by 25 cent alkaline batteries that I forgot to remove after a camping trip. These lithium primary cells, otoh, never leak have a very long (10+ year) shelf life. Put them in a flashlight in your glovebox and you can be sure it'll work fine in 6 years when you finally need it. Alkalines, otoh, will have melted your flashlight's innards. And even LSD rechargeables will have lost their charge.
I use them in various spots where a battery might last long enough to leak, e.g. my garage door keypad and my outdoor wireless temperature and humidity sensor.
Sure, they're not the best choice for your kid's toys. But they have their uses.

Every single thing EVERY THING in this world is more expensive due to inflation. If you can't understand that simple fact but yet can state all these other economic impacts then what the heck are you about?!
You make zero sense! Not sure what other people wrote here but if anyone has a political agenda it might be you. I don't know cause I don't even know what you are about writing like inflation is not a thing. Yeah it's a made up fantasy?! What?!
