I feel like I saw a lot of these getting sold on my local FB marketplace and at the time I couldn't find a lot of info about them. I wouldn't mind an update if you end up liking it.

Since Costco won't ship to me, I went and checked Amazon to see if they happened to price match. Saw this was for $213.90. Not sure how this compares to those listed in the OP.

Got this chair in all black for $405 over 2 years ago and have been sitting on it every day for countless hours. Very solid and comfortable chair but the back support isn't that great. The mesh material and plastic piece is the only thing supporting your back. Really nice for ultimate breathability but not much in lumbar support and ergonomics.

Is the plastic piece adjustable (slides up and down)? That's exactly how it is on the Aeron if you've never sat in it.

Or, it could be people saw the link from vyanagit and bought out the reminding stock. There are a lot of scammers out there but thinking everyone is trying to scam you is not the way to go.

Thanks for posting. I've been waiting for a Crandall sale on a rebuilt Steelcase Leap v2 (I tried the gesture and found it terrible for my back; far too little support). But I'm going to give this Hon a try, with it being from Costco.

I've looked all over and can't see any videos (aside from Hon produced) or even many comments about the reactiv back material. It seems like it's certainly less stretchy than the mash. I saw one dealer comment that was that the mesh was recommended over the reactiv back as people found the reactiv material less comfortable. But then you have several comments saying the mesh isn't supportive enough.

So who knows. I am leaning towards the reactiv back.

Ive had a bunch of these for a while, including a few I got used when COVID killed all the offices near me.

They are comfy and a grade above your average office depot grade hardware in that they have some support and don't fall apart in less than a year. My used one at home has been going strong for 4 years.

I was wondering why so many chairs in that price range went to FB marketplace and similar places but very little higher priced ones. The overall reason is obviously that WFH ended for a lot of people and my best guess is that the higher your employers chair budget the more likely you still WFH part time.

FWIW, I know somebody who sold their office chair on FB marketplace and later had to buy another used one because their employer made them bring the chairs to the office or pay book value.

I'm sitting in this chair and am not a big fan forthe price.
I'm 185lb 6' 1", and the cushion can start to feel thin if you lean back and your sit bones poke in. It has been this way since day 1, but I didn't buy it, so ehhh.

Also, the seat cushion length is pretty short; you won't get much support behind the knee.

If you are under 5 10 and lighter, I'm sure it's a nice chair.
