Not trying to be a jerk, just genuinely curious, if you use your iPad with the keyboard 100 percent of the time, why didn't you just buy a MacBook?

Cellular connectivity, center stage, pencil support, and a shallower depth - the hinge point on the Magic Keyboard makes it easier to use in tight spaces (aircraft etc).

I can't tell you how many pdfs I've signed with an iPad. It's a lot.

I upgraded to M4 specifically for the center camera since it's used with Magic Keyboard 100% of time. That makes Zoom call so much better. And OLED is pretty nice upgrade over mini led. I guess Apple listened to the customers and went with majority.

That's what Macbooks are for. Tablets are for holding. They didn't poll customers.
So you spent more money to build a custom laptop that has worse features than a laptop? Interesting.

As a fellow portrait iPad holder, I feared the same about the Face ID position change, but I usually hold the iPad with my left hand—both because I'm right-handed and that's the side that the folio covers fold up under—so it hasn't been an issue at all. Battery life is a bit shorter than my M1 iPad, but the drop in weight and thickness more than makes up for having to plug it in a day earlier.

Are you sure? I watched lots of movies at night on the older models and the blacks were blobby and gross. I assume OLED solves that.
