I mean, beyond mixing thinset or concrete... I can't imagine what you need this for. Can it replace SDS?

This is ONLY for mixing. It cannot do what an SDS does (keyed chuck anyway). No hammer mode, only slow speed with high torque.

Drywall mud, thin set, grout, floor leveling compound. Construction materials that come in a bag and need water and mixing.

Spinning up a 5gal bucket of those materials is hard work. If you're doing a lot of that, a purpose-specific mixing tool makes a big difference.

This is a good deal.

This has a standard chuck so you could use it as an auger.

Yes I probably use this more with an auger bit attached than mixing
