Even better, if you don't need 512GB in your iPad, the 256GB version if $699 and the 128GB version is $599. Pretty good deal.

Use is user-defined. For the educational aspect, I have found the apple experience better than the alternatives. Particularly reading and writing of pdf files. Others may have the equivalent offered *at subscription*. Apple allowed me one-off payment without restrictions. Others require limitations on pdf size. Windows pen experience was subpar. Don't know about android.

I equate Apple for pro-education.

$200 iPad 9 64gb, $700 M1 Air 256gb, iPhone SE suits most people watching Youtube. Same for a $20k sedan, small SUV, light pickup truck


The $440 256gb iPad 9, extremely pricey and support will end in 2 years.


This $800 512gb M2, $1200 M3 or M3 Pro 512gb, $50k F-150 truck suits people creating Youtube videos as income ($8000+). So its treated as investment or biz tool as tax write off.
