This is a great excuse to exercise which also benefits others. I have been doing it every year since it started and now have much of my family participating as well. Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for reminding me. I've done this the last two years, the packs are nice for what they are, and it's one more kick in the tail to get off the couch.

Are the entries manually entered in? I.e., if I ran the 5K on a treadmill, I could participate?

You have to measure it with an approved app to record the time.

While I use an app to track workouts, they sometimes don't record accurately or I make an oops starting them. Due to this, I have sent images of my treadmill display showing the distance and time each year. My treadmill resets after an hour and it takes more than that for me to do the 10k but they accepted two images equaling or exceeding the 6.2 miles without issue. FYI - They accept treadmills, but not elliptical trainers. HTH!

Thanks for that, I saw the same page mentioning treadmill, but wasn't sure if there was an app that could log my info if I'm just using my phone (that's not in my pocket).

This is exactly what I wanted to know — the picture works for me. Yeah, the PF chains only go up to one hour as well.

I don't believe there is a shirt as it wasn't part of the noted participant pack [runsignup.com] and they haven't included one in prior years. Our packs had the 10k or 5k medal - depending on the race done - a foam 'slice,' headband, drawstring bag and key wallet. The goodies are decent, but we always use it as a fun add-on to our exercise routine. A t-shirt would be nice, but the cost for them and managing sizes would likely make it tough to deal with - especially when the push for Bimbo is the bread donations based on race finishers.
