No one needs it. They *want* it, and they want it to watch media in high quality at an appropriate size based on their viewing distance.

Does anyone have experience with this model first hand? I know it's a little newer. Or any thoughts on their experiences with older models? How is the picture quality for every day use? We know this isn't an LG OLED but it's also not $6300 USD.
got the 75" version for 550

its super bright, image quality is excellent , and it does run at 120/144hz native
image quality is same as u7k so i returned the u7k and kept this one
I have posted review on bestbuy.com with pictures to show image quality difference between this vs 75" 6030k set i got last year

This may be the only place the extra inches in the bedroom are not needed.

If you need a tv that big in your bedroom you're doing a lot wrong. I have a 55" OLED and I ended up having to mount it higher on the wall to be able to see it properly while my head was on the pillow. Ceiling mounts are a thing also. Having a tv in the bedroom doesn't help you sleep though. The added lighting from a bigger screen is harmful.
I use a 100" TV as the slat base for a clear mattress so I can watch as a stomach sleeper.

Why do folks need this massive device?
Why do you need 50" over a 42" over 32"

So far I'm up to 65" and I've yet to regret going bigger than last model.

In fact I'm thinking maybe the best idea is to skip 80" and go straight to ultra short throw and get like 100" + in my living room.

If I ever see an 85" mini-LED at these prices, I will pull the trigger.

Why is Hisense and Onn no longer making Roku TVs? I like their OS so much better. I miss those days.
Because Roku started making their own TV line and stopped licensing Roku OS to other TV makers.

Avoid Hisense at all cost. Dont believe the review websites. These tvs are buggy, crashes time to time, color is not good. If you dont know quality then you will say these are good tvs.

what's the consensus? PUll the trigger or thinking BF will bring a better deal. Bluetooth 5.3, eARC, 144hz refresh rate. Google OS. VESA compatible, Full array backlighting. Just seems like a steal.

nice size...

I just need 100" back for 2K
I was one of the lucky ones, and love it. For those talking about this 85" deal, you won't be disappointed especially at this price. I sit about 10' from 100" and it is wow factor for everyone that sees the setup. 85" is still a great size, don't believe the "distance calculators".

It is a steal. Don't wait months for a $50 difference, or worse, out of stock/new model pricing.

I went from ~130" front projection to a 100" tv and the TV blows the projection out of the water, back into the water broken, then blows it out of the water again out of spite while it chuckles Smilie
