as there's an '8' on the end of the url, it might be the 8th time - althought not all at $20 - and woot never provide exact specs or model numbers - one of the best connections with any external reality is the amazon review count.
Wow. The price on these keep dropping and dropping.
When I first got this lock I looked at it and said "I hope it lasts at least 2 years". Well it's been just over 7 years and it's still going strong. Also, I've never needed to use the enclosed key to open the door. Every now and then, I find the key on my key chain and go "What's this for again?"
I had a couple of Yale smart locks and they are working perfectly. The one in front door is lasting for 5 years already. Changing batteries every 6 months or so. I prefer the version without a keyhole so it cannot be picked
How does this compare to Kwikset model in HD for $90. That has a handle , this one doesnt.
How hard is it add additional handle to a wooden door with metal exterior?
Are you trying to replace a deadbolt? This is for that. Types with handles are for doors without a deadbolt. (AKA replacing the door handle) You don't want two door knobs, you would have to turn both to open the door.

May have to grab one of these for the back door for the price and convenience. I have one on the front side door as well and it's been working very well. No concern for "picking" since these two are mounted on doors with glass panels. As stated in many conversations before, if they wanted, criminals can just break the panel and unlock. No amount of $$$ deadbolts can prevent that.

Replace glass panels with something solid? There are ways to make your place safer rather than just throw up your hands and say no matter what I do criminals will come inside.

Been snagging up Yale Assure locks like the dickins - but I have a basement door that I couldn't give two shits about that I wanted to secure with Z-Wave, seems like a good fit.
Finally breaking down and ordering one of these ugly models lol
