This might be the cheapest I've seen for an Ultra Tele in Texas Tea. The S-1 switch adds versatility by switching the middle position between parallel & series (the latter thickens up the sound to give a more humbucker like response).

Feels like it still has a lot of room to fall based on the Am pro ii deals but maybe I'm wrong. Hard to tell what they most over produced. I bit on Strat deal awhile ago and still want a tele but it also feels like Guitars are about to get their post Covid collapse that some other hobbies have already gone through lol

20% off of a new Fender guitar is pretty good.
You can get 10% off any day of the week but it is a bit harder to get a better deal unless it is a weird model or weird color or they are discontinuing a model.

These are still $2199 at some dealer as the new price drops happen. So this is around 28% off from last months regular price.

I bought a strat ultra during the $1500 miami guitars deal...and unpopular opinion, but it's a better guitar my 64 ri c.s....I want a matching tele in Texas tea Frown

man... i ordered one of the $1100 Am Pro II's in the Mystic Surf Green (gorgeous imo), and the mfers put it on backorder (perfectly fine) then CANCELED IT after keeping me waiting like 2mos... I was livid, bc I used Adorama for my business and spend a significant amount w them, so I emailed them, and at first they assented, and told me they'd honor it, but then emailed back and said they didn't have any vendors that offered it.
So I haven't ordered from Adorama since. I prefer the Mystic Surf color, and I don't really love the accouterments of the Ultra, but i do really like this color. i wonder if it'll ever get any lower.

Not that this order isn't true from a cost/feature standpoint, but with Ultra you're stuck with noiseless pickups, which aren't everyone's thing
