Not everyone that has or needs ramps has or needs a floor jack. These style ramps are great for doing quick oil changes, coolant changes, starter/alternator changes, differential fluid changes, or serpentine/accessory belt changes on vehicles without much ground clearance. Plus quality ramps are actually safer than jack stands since there's no chance of them tipping over or sinking into the pavement/dirt.

3" lift height is way too low to be of much use though. I have a bunch of low/sporty cars that i use plastic low-profile ramps on for routine maintenance, and they usually provide more like 6-8" of height. The peak height of a ramp isn't the main thing that makes low profile ramps work.... it's the length and angle of the slope which allows the front lip and other low parts of the vehicle to clear the ramp without hitting anything.

Who decided this was a good name for this product (named after a spider that kills it's mate).

"Honey, look what I got you for a present! Can you change my oil?" 🕷️

Use jack stands (edit: with your ramps), everyone!

Just flip it on side ...
How would you flip it on it's side with the deck attached? You can flip it on it's back, but side is a giant pain, deck sticks out a foot or more on each side.

When I only need a few inches of rise like this I just use a couple 2x6 scraps.

An off label use for these would be keeping trailer tires, or similar equipment, off the ground to prolong tires. At $24 you probably wouldn't find something better and cheaper.

These would actually be perfect for my truck. It's a 4x4 Tundra and its just at that point that going under the truck with a creeper makes it tight to change the oil considering I have to remove the rock guard. I have 8" and 10" ramps but the truck sits super high with those which makes adding oil back a pita.

I am actually interested in these because when I use my ramps for my cars then it puts the rear to low to get my jack under. If I could place these under the rear wheels while driving up the main ramps then I could easily lift a car with a jack to level it for transmission fluid changes. EDIT: Never mind... my 10" ramps are 67" long. 2x4's would be easier.

A set of ramps that only raises items by 3 inches is impractical and therefore priced accordingly. A 3-inch lift is not beneficial. For those considering these as a gift: DO NOT buy them. Most metal ramps offer a lift of 8 inches or more, making them suitable for working.
In your opinion, they are not... But with a 2010 Ford Mustang GT500 that is lowered I can use these to get a jack under my car easily to get it on jack stands to do work. Right now I am using 2x4's... So for me, these are great and IN FOR A SET!

Thanks OP!

I'm as cheap as the next guy, but sorry, I'm not buying a ramp from a website called "discountramps" with Widow in the name.
