Best Buy has the Jura E8 on sale for $1,599.99.

Have not seen the price this low on this model.

This is likely due to to the newer model just coming outt recently, however still can't seem to find anywhere close to this price

If in the market for a an expensive espresso machine, could be a good move.

Please also note that there is 4% back using Ibotta

$800 off the current going price of $2399 is a slick deal. I'm a semi-auto guy, but if I were in the market for a superauto this would be high on my list.

Factory refurbished from Jura for 1800 for the S8 is a better upgrade if you're willing to spend a bit more. We ordered it A few months ago and got SquareTrade for 5 years on it

The only difference between E8 and S8 is buttons in E8 vs touchscreen in S8. That's all.

It's more than just the touch screen. E8 has the hot water dispenser built in while the S8 has the add on. Also the S8 gives you the option for steamed vs frothy milk while E8 you don't have that option.

These machines will run for years if you keep up with the cleaning and descaling schedules. However, at some point in time they will need to be shipped back to Jura for servicing to clean the brew group, rejuvenate the grinder, etc. This service was several hundred dollars years ago and is likely more now.

Will a novice espresso drinker such as myself notice a difference between this and a Phillips 3200 which I got on sale a few years ago? I understand someone who loves espresso will probably notice.

Do you drink straight espresso or milk drinks? If straight espresso, even as a "novice" drinker you will probably notice the difference in the taste and texture between lower end and higher end machines. If you are putting espresso in milk drinks then it doesnt matter as much.

Yeah I was in the same boat actually and wound up pulling the trigger on this 1 due to the overall value.

Everything I read seemed that S8 upgrade wasn't entirely worth it.

As someone mentioned the S8 Refurbished is a few hundred more than this new E8.

Can also grab 18 months 0% on it as well with 4% Ibotta from Best Buy.

If this was the updated 2023 model, I'd be all over it. Alas, it's the old 2020 model that looks like they're blowing out on clearance.

Can you tell me what the differences are between this model and the 2023 model? It looks like the old old 2020 model has different buttons and this is the newer of that era. This also shows the 17 drinks and the aroma grinder and not the G3 grinder.

Yes splash of milk.
I also use it as a coffee machine as well.
