Wait, why is this a deal when it was $40 3 days ago. I know, time machine yada yada yada, but still, better to wait for another dip?

Amazon sells this same stand under other brands for a similar price. Nothing special here. Generic gear.

I bought the Vanguard VEO 2 265CB 5-Section Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with BH-50 for $100 or $120 in November 2020 and I think it's wonderful! Very smooth, light and strong. It's a hobby of mine, and I think it was worth it for a well built unit I can carry on the side of my LowePro backpack.

carry capacities = up to 3kg / 6.6lbs if anyone cares

it's to low for all but one lens in my kit.

Can this be used with a smartphone to record any YT videos?
Edit: Nevermind, I think this is meant for cameras...but you may be able to adapt it to use with smartphones using the below product.

This means vanguard is using weak plastic joints . 4-6lb is only acceptable for $5 tripod.

My $70 all metal Small Rig tripod holds 30lbs
My super cheap $30 tripod holds holds 12lbs

I also got the Veo 2 265 but aluminum. Paid $50 for like-new condition. Love the tripod. Great quality even at MSRP.
