This is cheap for a reason.
NAND flash memory: QLC.
How is 10% off a "Slickdeal"? The standards on this site are plummeting.
Considering 98% of people don't understand that they see no difference in performance between pcie 3.0 and 4.0 speeds. I am more interested in knowing how it handles lots of data writes, heavy large video files, and can it at least sustain 800-1000mbps? You'd be surprised to know how many pcie gen 4 drives with dram cache will come to a halt after a lot of data gets written

Nice price for a drive these days. It never got this cheap during the "everything is cheap" times of a year ago. In41

I'm guessing by the very low speeds for a PCIe 4.0 drive that there is no DRAM on this? The 2TB version (obscenely overpriced) doubles the write speed of the 1TB version.

If you need a drive for storage on a budget, the price and capacity are great but otherwise I think there are better options than this almost 5 year old drive.

this is an interesting deal, because the Heatsink itself is worth $25 (more realistically $10-15 seeing it's a more premium type than others). The write speed looks like ass, but those $67-2tb intel drives aren't coming back
