Great price, I had this last year and it was well worth it. I graduated years ago so wanted to bite while it was available.

Make sure you get the edition with Red Zone for $10 more.

Can you use any college student's info to get the discount? Hypothetically, of course.

This did work for ASU, and I graduated more than a decade ago. It directed me to log in to my student account and I had to approve that some info was shared, and it verified me.

Did they change the student verification process from last year? All you needed was name, DOB, and school. You didn't need to log into any student account or even need an .edu email.

Dumb question what's the point of 1 year? When games go from sep to feb only right? So half year it's just an idle subscription then?

This is how the student accounts worked from the beginning. Always been 1 stream.
Not last year with this deal. I shared it with my brother who lives out of state. Figured it'd only allow one stream at a time (and planned on that when we signed up) but it ended up allowing us to both watch at the same time. Not sure if it was a glitch that will be corrected this year, but the deal last year said the same thing as this year about being unable to share it on multiple screens.

Can you vpn to a diff state to bypass?
Use a VPN to spoof location to where your team of interest is playing. Log into FOX or CBS using someone's or your own TV provider credentials and boom, live CBS or FOX feed for "your location"

CBS has begun to catch onto this last year if I remember right but FOX worked like a charm.

It's actually not a stupid question. I don't want to exit one streaming app to go to my local tv provider to watch a different game at commercials or halftime. I want them all in the same place.
Ok, I understand. Thanks

Im assuming it's a person who wants to watch all the games at the same time. I do the same and if Sunday Ticket allowed us to view local games, we could watch in a split screen like all the other games. Instead, we have to buy multiple TVs, hook them up with an HD antenna and watch the local games on those.
I think it's for someone who cares about the stats? For me, all I want to see is the Packer game and not get distracted with other games.

Do you get local games on Sunday ticket?
No. And you won't get Thursday night, Sunday night, Sunday morning, or Monday night games either. I had it last year and it was totally not worth it. You will still need something else if you want to watch games (antenna, cable subscription, whatever).

Now if they just showed every game, it would be worth it.
If the team you want to follow is out of your "local market" for every game and they never play overseas, on Sunday or Monday night, then it's probably good. But I don't think that exists.

I already bought ST + Redzone student a couple weeks ago where I didn't have to reverify, however I see in my account that "Student Status Expires August 27th". Wonder if it's going to try to verify again before the season starts, can't imagine they'd let people pay & resubscribe just to verify right before it starts and potentially have to issue refunds over a month after payment.
Im in the same boat. Some time in Aug I have to reverify.

I did the roster trick last year and it worked great.
Just got the email to re-up if I am still a student.
It was all ready to let me pay for it but I had a question.

How do they confirm if you are still a student?
I never wrote down the guy's name so I don't remember who I picked.
Will it let me change students?
Do they refund you if it fails somehow?

Update
I was able to find my guy again so I went ahead and purchased. No check, it went right through.
Yep, you are able to change students. "My guy" from last year graduated so I had to get a new one for this year.
