Are you able to combine these to make a larger bed?

Yes. Just put them next to each other.

It is actually beneficial for a raised bed to not have any walls around it

Plastic leeching? I have 1ft high raised garden, it's not really raised that much but holds the soil in place, majority of the soil that feeds the plants come from underneath, also unless you get really crappy quality plastic I doubt you can get any plastic in your produce. Is there any study you can point out about plastic leaching into raised bed produce?
i would suspect micro plastics or volitility of plastics in sunlight

not sure if it would be affected by something that is produced by a plant and relating it to microwaved plastics if those two are associated

These are great. I have a few rectangle ones from the same store. Edges are sharp so be careful with kids running around them.

It is totally fine! The big "no" is to treated wood.
It is my understanding that is not as much of an issue as it used to be. They treat the wood differently than before.

Too bad my wife always refuses the look of these galvanized raised beds. I, on the other hand, don't like the appearance of cedar boards after the first year.

I think so. If not you can order online then select to pick up in-store option at check out. Mine won't ship until Aug 16, but if I select in-store it's less than 1 hr.

Last year I bought a couple of the oval shaped ones. Installed them this spring and they seem to hold up well. Now if i buy 2 of the rectangular ones, can I use these pieces to extend the oval ones I already have? Basically making them 3x12 instead of the current 3x6? Thanks

Can I combine a few, throw in my mattress and use it indoors? 🤓

I have a few of these from a prior sale a few years back and they are holding up well.
Mine made for an excellent asparagus bed
