Thanks OP. People have been wondering when newer Activision games would start showing up for Game Pass members.
There's plenty of deals and freebies posted for members of particular subscriptions and stores so don't know why some comments are being obtuse.
There's a difference between prime free items or free games from GOG or Epic, you keep them and they are for a limited time. Deals for gamepass perks make sense even because you keep them and they expire.
It's not obtuse to say that a release on gamepass doesn't need a deal post because it isn't a deal or something you can obtain. Which releases deserve a post, all of them? That is what I'd consider obtuse.
I have gamepass btw for anyone that calls it hating somehow, apparently you can't have an opinion without being a hater.

Downloaded last night. Immediately booting it up, you will be absolutely berated with "battle pass" marketing BS and have micro transactions shoved down your throat.
Black ops coming out soon so they figure the player base is gonna drop in a month. I recommend getting into the zombies mode, tons of missions to do and 3 different dark ethers to explore
I just want to play the campaigns. Should I start with cod4 mw remake when it shows up eventually?
2019 MW1 isn't called CoD 4, that's the original Modern Warfare game from 2007. It's normally just or less called MW1 2019.
Regarding the campaigns. The early CoD campaigns from Infinity Ward (the original developers of CoD) are good, surprisingly grounded yet still with big setpieces and action. It's not hyperbole that CoD 4's campaign (and multiplayer) were highly influential and impactful.
It starts to go off the rails and almost a satire of itself with the original MW2, with MW3 going full off the rails.
Definitely don't play the new MW trilogy campaigns expecting anything like the original games. There's probably one level in MW1 2019 that make the campaign worth playing, and ironically it's a somewhat stealth level where you sweep through a building one floor at a time. The rest of the campaign is eh.
In my opinion, the following CoD campaigns are worth playing:
CoD 2, CoD 4 (2007), Black Ops 1, Black Ops 2, Advanced Warfare, Infinite Warfare
CoD 1 and the expansion are also worth playing, but some may find it dated. World at War is good, but some might find the WW2 setting a bit old (it was criticized at the time for sticking to WW2, especially after CoD 4 was released). Apparently, Black Ops Cold War's campaign is decent for what it is.
The original MW2 is also good, but different vs MW1. MW3 is...fine? Infinity Ward after MW2's release had a mass exodus due to issues with their parent company, Activision. MW3 hence why feels different vs its predecessor and became the meme it is today.

Sooo…. For the typical SDer with a huge backlog and limited time to actually play any… Better to wait for black ops 6 or get into MW3 at this point if playing the multiplayer this year?
All the haters hate because they don't have GamePass..
The main reason this is a deal is that Cal of Duty was PlayStation exclusive for a number of years. Then it eventually made it to Xbox but you had to pay full price. This is the first time it's been included in GamePass which if something many games here on slick deals have.

May be I'm wrong but CoD never been PlayStation exclusive. Actually I know that at least CoD2 was Xbox 360 exclusive and never came to PS. All main series games were multi platform. Sony only had marketing agreement with Activision.
