Be careful. GOG just downloads the installer. It will than install overtop of your Fallout 4 install. It is not a mod. It is a total conversion. You cannot play regular Fallout 4 unless this is uninstalled first. You also need to downgrade Fallout 4 from the recent next-gen update. Users report lots of glitches at the moment so it may be best to wait a month before installing.

GOGs Fallout 4 install files are already at the downgrade point. (Last I checked) With Steam you will have to run the downgrade file. Big question is where to put it as I have nexus modded both F4 and FNV on a desktop and laptop respectively (100gb++ and 20gb+ on changes/content) . I sure appreciate those with the talent to mod and push what engines can do.

GOG found a way to get this to everyone (GOG/steam) -so a shout out to the store front as well.

By the way, check your email for any tailored discount F4 GOTY codes. I managed to add it to my library for 7.99 a few months ago.

Mod will always be free, since this is a 3rd party developer, they can only put this out without making money off it, or else they would get sued and cease and desist.

That being said I heard incredible things about this and some of the youtube videos were really good. I heard it was close to retail level release, but its been in beta for awhile.

I'm reading no or with great difficultly. Bethesda re-did the structure of Fallout 4 (and Skyrim) this year and it wrecked the modding. Might want to research it a little.

That's not necessarily true? I've seen a lot of GTA V modders keeping their material behind patreon accounts. Very much worth the $ for a few of them and highly impressive enhancements to base game similar to this.

Let's just be thankful these guys are freely sharing.

edit: I will happily compensate modders and open source developers for their work. It hurts me and everyone else who's enjoying their efforts to report them. That would be cheap and petty. Most of the time the patreon content is for early access to their current work.

Lol report them to Rockstar and they will quickly be taken down. Just cause they choose to do something illegal does not make it right, and without anyone reporting the content they slide into that grey area.

Literally impossible. Mods on console are limited to 2gb
