I'd say yes but more of a form fit and not baggy. I have an Eddie Bauer sun hoodie that is medium and fits me like a baggy large. I am 5' 10" and 150 slim build and the Browning ones fit me like a slim medium. I work outside a lot year-round and plan to wear this in summer to protect from sun and winter to layer with. Treat it with permethrin along with some good synthetic field pants and you'll be well protected against bugs as well.

Is this good as a hiking shirt when it is hot out and you need something lightweight that also protects you from sunburns? Or do you need an SPF rated shirt for that?

I got these last time. They are great, especially for the price. Pretty thin, so not a winter thing. But comfy any lightweight. Also, if you are tall, they are perfect because they have long arms and torso.
